Hoar Frost

Hoar Frost was inspired during a walk on December 23, 2017, when I snapped the above photo. This natural phenomenon became a metaphor for humanity’s frail existence.

The story was entered in the Canadian Authors Association – Niagara Branch annual short story competition. Although it did not win, my story received an honourable mention and will be published in the contest anthology: Fifteen Stories High.

Join me for a public reading of my work at the anthology launch party on Saturday, March 30, 2019, from 2-4:30 p.m., at the St. Catharines Public Library, 54 Church Street, St. Catharines.
